I want to give you more details about my mom, her surgery on Oct. 7th is going to be a "partial masectomy" and they will try to only remove the lump and a little bit of the surrounding area. Afterwards, she will need to have radiation treatment. However, they will not know the exact course of treatment until they do the surgery and see the actual situation.
